Now that I have left Roding Primary, its time for me to start a new chapter at West Hatch High School. I've been set a task of sharing "Who I am" with my new teachers and classmates. This blog is designed to record my last summer before this new adventure begins. I hope you like it.

So Long Roding
Our very last day at Roding was an emotional time. Saying goodbye to some of my friends that I'd know for 7 or 8 years was hard, but we all agreed that we would still keep in contact, and meet up.
The sad day began with a nice leavers breakfast where our parents came to school, we had photos taken, and we got to chat with our friends, while having a breakfast snack.
Once everyone had finished their breakfast, we headed to the hall for our final farewell. Our parents were accompanied by the year 5's in the hall waiting for the show to begin. Each child got to read out a line about of one of their memories at Roding. Some were funny- others were tearful. We sang some songs to cheer us up, and we even watched a hilarious video of the boys pretending to be JlS. In the end, we we couldn't take it any more, and tears soon filled our eyes. Including me. When we were back up in the classroom we said our goodbyes and we were released home.
Thankfully, we didn't have to separate yet, because our amazing parents organised a picnic for us at Ray Lodge Park. We had such great fun together.
But when we left the park, we soon realised that eventually we would have to leave each other, so we all went home knowing that we would all see each other soon, and that we all had one thing in common, we all shared an amazing life at Roding.
